Dorper Lamb - taste the difference!

The Dorper was bred by crossing a dorset horn sheep from Britain with a persian sheep from Iran in the 1930s and was introduced to Australia about 15 years ago. The free range dorper lambs grow rapidly on the abundant supply of milk from their mothers and have the ability to graze on salt-bush at an early age.

As the lambs show good maturity at 4 to 6 months of age, this ensures tenderness and a superior flavour. Being shedders (they lose their wool), the resulting meat has low aroma and a fresh clean taste & is available in a full range of cuts, on the bone & boneless. Dorper lamb - taste the difference
