    AROMA: Complex and pretty aroma that is distinctly grapey with quince, pear, fig, musk and orange rind aromatics.

    FLAVOUR:  An intense sweet luscious wine that displays pear, peach, fig, melon, grapefruit and nectarine flavours.

    Chardonnay is the chameleon of all white grape varieties, it is capable of producing quality wines of varying styles within a range of different climates. The fruit character of our Happs Chardonnay is distinctly white peach,with a tight, fine acid structure and a voluminous mid palate. This is unique to our Karridale vineyard  which is inherently capable of producing balanced and refined flavours year after year. 

    Aroma: A lifted aroma of peach, pear and grapefruit with hints of struck match, quince paste, subtle oak and attractive bready characters.

    Palate:  A wine with great fruit intensity and chalky acidity. The wine displays ripe peach, grapefruit, rockmelon and nectarine flavours with notes of lemon butter and toffee apple. The wine is richly flavoured with integrated oak and an attractive mineral thread.

    A classic Margaret River style wrapped up in stunning indigenous artwork from Kimberley artist Hughie Ahwon. 

    Colour: clear pale straw

    Aroma: moderate aroma of cut grass, lemon butter, passionfruit, fig, gooseberry and jasmine with notes of pastry and almond meal.

    Palate:  dry, creamy and textural rather than crisp and acidic as is often seen with this varietal combination. The flavours are in a riper spectrum and consist of citrus, quince paste, rockmelon and ripe pear. The flavour is long with a soft acidity that makes for a very particular style.
